Kasey Stack is a research specialist working on the Visuospatial Deficits after Stroke and Pediatric Stroke projects.  She's interested in cognition and mental health across the lifespan and plans on pursuing a Ph.D. so she can work as a neuropsychologist in the future. Prior to joining the lab, she was the project coordinator for a study on bipolar disorders at the Minneapolis VA. In the world outside of research, she enjoys exploring DC, hiking, and shopping for plants. 

Sarah Haile

Sarah Haile is the lab manager for the RHECO lab. She is interested in mental health and psychology, especially in trauma and emotion. She hopes to study and pursue a career in clinical psychology down the road. Before her time with the lab, she spent time researching emotional connections of language in bilingual and bicultural persons, as well as interning as a mental health helpline specialist. Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading, photography, and spending time with her family and friends.

Karina Diaz is a recruitment specialist interested in the field of neurology. She intends to go to medical school to become a surgeon, which is why this field of research greatly interests her. Before her involvement with the lab, she worked as an EMT in the Bay Area, California during the pandemic. In her free time, she loves soccer, skiing, hiking, and just about anything outdoors. Fun fact: She is trilingual; fluent in English, Spanish and Chinese (Traditional).
